The Best Homemade Granola
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups organic sprouted oats (I use One Degree Organics)
- 1 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup coconut flakes (unsweetened)
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds
- 3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup raisins or chopped dates
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- In a large glass bowl, mix oats, pumpkin seeds, coconut flakes, and hemp seeds. Set aside
- In a saucepan, melt together the maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg
- Pour the liquid mixture into glass bowl with dry ingredients
- Stir together and pour mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Bake for 35 minutes, stir 2-3 times. Once golden in color, press down with a flat spatula and cool for at least 30 minutes before breaking apart
- Mix in raisins
