Brown Butter Pumpkin Pie with Sourdough Crust

Ingredients
Pie filling
- 1/4 cup butter browned
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar I love Florida Crystals sugar
- 1 can of pumpkin puree
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1/4 tsp salt
Sourdough Pie Crust
- 140g flour I love Sunrise Flour Mill, Heritage White
- 5g salt
- 113g cold butter cubed
- 140g sourdough starter
Instructions
- Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake for 40-50 minutes until set. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. Best topped with homemade whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!
