Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering isn’t always open since I bake in small batches. The best way to order is by signing up for SMS — you’ll receive a text notification as soon as a bread drop goes live. The message will include the pickup date, time, and location, along with the link to order your loaf before they sell out.

Sourdough is naturally fermented using wild yeast and beneficial bacteria. My dough ferments for 24+ hours, which:
– helps break down gluten
– makes the bread easier to digest
– increases nutrient availability
– creates that delicious tang and chewy, airy texture
It’s traditional bread made the way it was always meant to be.

Keep your loaf at room temperature in a bread bag for 3-5 days.
For longer storage:
– Slice
– Freeze
– Toast straight from the freezer
It tastes just as good!

All of my sourdough is made with the highest-quality, traditional ingredients:
– Organic unbleached flour
– Mineral spring water
– Real Salt
No additives, preservatives, or commercial yeast — ever.

I also offer rotating seasonal sourdough flavors and sourdough cookies, all made with real, organic ingredients and no preservatives or fillers. Everything is baked in small batches with simple, intentional, and nourishing ingredients you can trust.

Not at this time. My loaves are naturally fermented and many people find them gentler on digestion, but they do contain gluten.

Chipotle chicken BLTA on homemade sourdough ciabat Chipotle chicken BLTA on homemade sourdough ciabatta 🌶️🥪

I layered the chipotle sauce, grilled chicken + melted cheddar, avocado with flaky salt, tomato, bacon, lettuce, and then extra sauce on top!

Chunky Chipotle Sauce:
- 3/4 cup plain greek yogurt
- 4 chipotle peppers in adobo, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp adobo sauce
- ½ lime juiced 
- 2 tsp honey
- pinch of salt

Best part is you can absolutely lather on the sauce because it’s basically just adding more protein!

Protein Sourdough Einkorn Waffles

- ½ cup sourdough starter
- 1 cup einkorn flour @jovialfoods 
- ¾ cup greek yogurt
- ½ cup egg whites
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt

1. Preheat waffle maker.
2. In a bowl, whisk together sourdough starter, Greek yogurt, egg whites, milk, and coconut sugar until smooth.
3. Stir in einkorn flour, baking powder, and salt.
4. Let batter rest 5–10 minutes.
5. Cook until golden 

Meal prep tip:
Let cool completely, then store in the fridge or freezer + reheat in toaster. You could also wrap up these sandwiches and store in the freezer!

Makes 10–12 mini waffles (4-inch)

Savory sourdough breakfast casserole 🍞🍳 High prot Savory sourdough breakfast casserole 🍞🍳

High protein, balanced, and perfect for meal prep, just reheat and pair with fruit for the easiest mornings!

Ingredients:
- 5 cups sourdough bread, cubed (about half a sandwich loaf)
- 8 eggs
- 1 cup cottage cheese (I love @nancysyogurt 
- ½ cup milk
- 8 oz breakfast sausage (I used turkey)
- 1 zucchini, diced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1–2 cups spinach, chopped
- ½ small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 cup shredded gouda

Preheat oven to 375° and grease an 8x11 baking dish. Brown sausage in a pan, then add mushrooms and onion and cook until soft. Add zucchini and cook off excess moisture, then stir in spinach until wilted. Set aside. Blend together eggs, cottage cheese, milk, garlic, and spices. Add sourdough to baking dish, top with sausage and veggie mixture, then pour over custard. Gently press so the bread soaks it up. Let sit 15–20 minutes then top with gouda and bake 45–55 minutes, until golden and set in the center. Let cool slightly, then top with fresh chives and slice
